India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC)
Overview
ICEC has close cooperation with the governments of China and India as well as their affiliated institutions, such as the embassies of the two countries, ministries of the two countries, provincial governments of China, state governments of India, as well as chambers of commerce and cultural organizations in the two countries. For over ten years, ICEC has become a contact point for economic and cultural activities between China and India, including policy research, industry reports, cultural exhibitions, and business cooperation. ICEC has deep cooperation with enterprises in the two countries, such as Huawei, ZTE, TBEA, Tata Group, and Adani Group.
ICEC is one of the most active organizations for business development under the “Made in India” movement the Belt and Road Initiative. With over 5,000 members, ICEC has become an
important node in business exchanges between China and India. Every year, over 30 economic and cultural events are held the organizations from China and India, and more than 50 business delegations carry out exchanges between the two countries. Moreover, ICEC also helps enterprises conduct in-depth research, understanding, and integration into the two markets.
