We hardly disagree on how humanity should develop, how the world economy and geopolitics should move forward.”
Zhou Liqun, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce in Russia and General Manager of China Chengtong International Investment Co., Ltd, said that the positive interaction between Chinese and Russian enterprises and the highly complementary nature of the Chinese and Russian economies have enabled the two countries to successfully increase their annual trade volume. Payment challenges between Chinese and Russian companies have become a hot topic of discussion, and we need to strategically address these issues, as well as eliminate the doubts and fears of Chinese companies in terms of settlement. Indeed 90% of Russian-Chinese contracts are already settled in RMB, but there is a need to ensure that the flow of funds becomes freer.
