In order to promote exchanges and cooperation in the field of healthcare between China and the U.S., the first event of China’s First International Science and Technology Open Cooperation Conference (Zhejiang), “China-U.S. Health Bridge” – Global Healthcare Industry, Academia and Research Cooperation and Innovation Forum, was held in Jinhua on April 21, 2023, where Mr. Robin Peter Tensen, Founder of GlobalTech IP, was invited to attend the forum and host the “China-U.S. Health Bridge” Salon. Nearly 300 people, including Nobel Prize winners, foreign envoys, heads of international organizations, famous scientists and representatives of innovative institutions, attended the event offline, including domestic and international renowned scholars, experts, entrepreneurs and investors .

In the keynote salon,Mr. Robin Peter Tensen led a discussion on international cooperation paths for healthcare innovation and technology with five representatives, including Tan Yibin, Director of the Investment and Finance Department of the Yangtze River Delta National Center for Technology Innovation; Luo Shizhong, Secretary General of the Internationalization Committee of the China Association of Pharmaceutical Enterprises Management (CAPEM); Xin Luoxiong, Director of the Center for Healthcare Policy Research of the Beijing Health Promotion Association (BHPA); Dai Youwen, Partner of MAPP Health; and Jesús Tamez-Duque, representative of the Mexico Center for China. Duque and Jesús Tamez-Duque, representative of Mexico China Center, discussed the international cooperation path of healthcare innovation and technology. The speakers’ multiple backgrounds and different viewpoints caused a warm response from the audience, which pushed the forum to a climax.

The event was open to researchers and the public in both countries through a live webcast, with nearly 180,000 online viewers. The event was also covered by People’s Daily, CCTV News, and dozens of media outlets at the Zhejiang provincial and municipal levels.
