Nanjing’s future network technology commercialization progresses

The 6th Future Network Development Conference will open in Nanjing on August 24 and is expected to give new impetus to technological innovation, urban renewal and national strategic development.

Nanjing is an important birthplace of China’s future network and has hosted five conferences.

In 2011, the Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Institute (JFNII) was established in Nanjing Jiangning Development Zone under the leadership of academician Yunjie Liu, in cooperation with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tsinghua University.

In the past ten years, JFNII has made great achievements in cutting-edge technology research, incubation of innovative enterprises, and gathering of high-end talents.

Meanwhile, JFNII has achieved leapfrog development in the future network industry. At present, JFNII has established a network of 61 communication professional innovation teams and incubated 60 enterprises.

In addition, the conference connected the global network communication and information security industry, brought together top talents and leading companies, shared significant original achievements, and linked global resources supporting innovation. It promoted the application of technology in industrial upgrading and the rise of a network communication and security industry center.

The future of networking technology has been initially commercialized in Jiangning, said Liu. Emicnet is a leading provider of artificial intelligence speech-assisted solutions, founded with the support of JFNII. During the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the company launched a voice robot to help companies resume work and production, realizing both economic and social benefits.
