Changzhou held a technical innovation conference on electric vehicle charging facilities
On August 4, the 2nd Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Technology Innovation Conference opened in Changzhou.
The conference was organized by the Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Branch of the China Electricity Council and the Technical Committee for Standardization of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in the Energy Industry, in cooperation with Start Charge, a Changzhou-based company specializing in electric vehicle charging technology.
With the theme of “Green Development, Safe and Efficient, Innovation Driven”, the conference included a forum, panel discussions and workshops to exchange views on the development difficulties and trends of the EV charging industry.
China has made progress in establishing technical standards for electric vehicles, including 137 national standards and 91 industry standards that cover general requirements, vehicle components, infrastructure, and charging connectors.
At the conference, NMSA researcher Xiang Fanghuai called for efforts to take a holistic approach to development, combine research and standard setting, adhere to the rule of law, and engage in international scientific and technological cooperation.
