6 German startups participate in Jianye District Forum promotion
On July 29, Nanjing International Talent Supply and Demand Matchmaking Meeting (Jianye District) and German Overseas Science and Technology Project Promotion and Exchange Forum were held at the same time.
The event was co-organized by Nanjing International Talent Exchange Center, Jianye District Science and Technology Bureau and Nanjing Overseas Collaborative Innovation Center (Stuttgart).
The Nanjing Center for Collaborative Innovation Abroad (Stuttgart) selected six startups from Germany to participate in the in-person show, focusing on blockchain, fintech, new materials and automation. Industry experts and venture capital investors also attended the event and provided advice.
Lucas, CEO of German startup CIMK, said the company has benefited from Jianye’s good financial and entrepreneurial environment since it settled there in June last year. The company has made full use of Nanjing’s talent advantage, hired the required professionals and is currently in the process of raising its first round of financing.
In Lucas’ view, Jianye has the same robust innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem as Shanghai, such as the presence of many financing service providers.
