The World Internet of Things Conference 2022 will kick off in Wuxi in November
According to a press conference held by the Wuxi Municipal Government in Jiangsu Province on October 26, the 2022 World Internet of Things Expo will open in Wuxi from November 25 to 27.
Hosted by the provincial government, the expo will include a major summit, IoT applications and product exhibitions, and six events.
The summit will invite experts and entrepreneurs in the fields of intelligence and digital transformation, artificial intelligence for the Internet of Things (AIoT) and other fields to discuss the development path of the Internet of Things. This exhibition will focus on displaying smart sensing, intelligent connected vehicle (icv) and industrial internet products and services provided by industry giants and emerging companies.
The Expo will feature a hybrid online-on-site format, including a meta-world exhibition, as well as networking opportunities in the areas of innovation, talent and funding.
Since 2016, the expo has been held six times, attracting participants from 50 countries and regions. Promote the signing of nearly 800 major project agreements, with a total investment of more than 200 billion yuan.
The development of the Internet of Things started early in Jiangsu. In 2009, Wuxi City was commissioned by the State Council to build a sensor network innovation park. In 2021, the province’s Internet of Things industry will achieve a revenue of 742 billion yuan, an increase of about 15%, and it will take the lead in the development of the Internet of Things in the country.
